CustomerSustainabilityKnowledgeStatus

Type to represent the state of customer's knowledge about sustainability, sustainable investing, and sustainable funds (ESG). Brokers are legally required to ask customers about their knowledge of sustainable investing and funds. If the customer does not have sufficient knowledge, the broker must consult with them until they are educated. These are the only 2 cases we accept, if your use-case does not fit these cases do not pass sustainability and talk to the customer and the insurance provider.

The customer did not have pre-existing knowledge of sustainable investing or ESG. The broker has consulted with the customer and has informed them about sustainable investing and ESG funds.

This can only be selected only if the partner has their own broker license as only a licensed broker can educate the customers.

CustomerSustainabilityKnowledgeStatus.WAIVED_CONSULTATION_DUE_TO_PRE_EXISTING_KNOWLEDGE​

The customer has sufficient knowledge about sustainable investing and funds as per the ESG guidelines and has waived the need for further consultation when the option is provided. The broker needs to ensure the customer has the knowledge and if not it's mandatory to consult and educate them.
